The Foundation

The foundation for Kraken Nutrition began over a decade ago—long before supplements were even a thought. This personal journey remains at the core of our vision today.

Medically discharged from the military in 2012, Michael battled severe pain and depression for nearly a decade on VA-prescribed medications. In 2019, he hit a breaking point and committed to change. He slowly tapered off all medications, launched a natural apothecary business in 2020 focused on holistic and spiritual healing, and moved to Utah in 2021. By 2022, he was fully medication-free and thriving as a dedicated fitness and outdoor enthusiast.

Mount Borah cLIMB

In 2023, Michael set out to climb Mount Borah, Idaho’s tallest mountain. Unable to find a single supplement that delivered energy, hydration, endurance, and recovery, he created his own mix days before the climb—combining pre-workout, electrolytes, creatine, and more. He jokingly called it “Crack Water.”

The blend performed incredibly well, powering him through the grueling 12-hour round-trip summit. Unknowingly, he had just created the first prototype of Hydrakrak Unleashed™.

“Crack Water” quickly became a favorite on every adventure. When friends kept asking, “Why don’t you make this for real?” Michael initially brushed it off as unrealistic.

In late 2024, something clicked. He reached out to manufacturers. After early setbacks and radio silence, persistence paid off. Over the next 18 months, he poured nearly 3,000 hours into research, formulas, flavors, branding, and website development—all while working full-time 10–12 hour days as a FedEx driver.

Through countless obstacles and sleepless nights, Hydrakrak Unleashed™ officially launched in 2026.
